Traditional Thai Massage (Without Oil)

Traditional Thai massage works more deeply than other types of massage because it involves stretching and deep pressure on certain points. Traditional Thai massage does not include oil and is performed whilst wearing loose comfortable clothing. This is a traditional healing technique – refined in Thailand over centuries.

*To receive the full benefit of the treatment the recommended time is between 90 – 120 minutes*

Thai Combination oil Massage

This combination massage treatment is the one you can enjoy the best of both worlds – East and West. Blending traditional Thai massage, gentle stretching and flowing long stroke massages with warm oil and Thai herbal balm. It is great for sore muscles, inviting the feeling of complete inner calm. Promoting blood circulation in stress zones, this massage is ideal for alleviating general tension, sports related pain and chronic muscle conditions.

Aromatherapy Massage

This is the most relaxing massage that we offer here at True Thai Massage & Spa. Aromatherapy Massage exploits the ability of the body to absorb therapeutic natural oils extracted from plants.

A trained aromatherapist will skilfully choose a combination of oils that will help relax and stimulate you, according specifically to your individual needs. They will then apply these oils with a light pressure to the muscles, promoting beneficial changes in your mind and body as you inhale these essential oil molecules or absorb them through your skin.

Swedish Massage

The classic Swedish massage incorporates long fluid strokes of varying depth and light to medium pressure to enhance the body’s natural functioning. It reduces pain, improves circulation, and enhances immune functioning. Massage can also help diminish stress, anxiety, and depression.

Thai Deep Tissue Massage

This is our deep tissue Thai massage, which is excellent for relaxing and loosening tight muscles, tissues and stiff joints where deeper work is required. Your massage therapist will slowly and carefully introduce pressure, making sure that your muscles are warmed up with deep pressure only being applied where it’s needed.

We use the same acupressure points and movements as with our regular Thai massage therapy, but the movement is slower and the pressure is deeper and concentrated on areas of tension and pain. Your massage therapist will use her forearms, elbows and knuckles as well as her fingers and body weight to apply a deeper pressure. By applying a sequence of slow, deliberate and focused movements, your therapist relaxes constricted areas of muscle.

Thai Back Neck & Shoulder Massage

Back, neck and shoulder massage is recommended to people with less active or stressful lifestyle, often working in the same position (for example at a desk or on computer) or people with headaches and back pain without particular reason.
Type of traditional Thai massage, connecting acupressure techniques.

Despite focusing on upper parts of the body as back, shoulders, neck and head, masseuse also massages other parts of the body to keep energy balance.

Hot Stone Massage

Hot Stone Therapy is a deeper form of massage, utilising the therapeutic benefit of smooth, warmed stones.

Volcanic stones deliver warmth and relaxation to the muscles, increasing the blood flow to the area that is being manipulated. Hot Stone Therapy further accelerates the healing process of muscular and tendon pain, whilst also reducing both emotional and physical stress.
Some other benefits of hot stone massage include:

• The relaxation of tense muscles.
• Helping to improve and stimulate the lymphatic system.
• Increasing blood flow and circulation around the body.
• Soothing stress and anxiety.
• Promoting sleep.

Hot stone treatment is best suited for clients who are prone to being cold day-to-day or have mild circulatory problems.

Thai Foot (Reflexology) Massage

People with a busy life style who are always on the go will love our foot massages! They are perfect for relieving tired, aching or swollen feet.

Our foot massage focuses on both the feet and calves. Our technique uses a combination of fingers, a Thai wooden massage stick and herbal balms. We apply acupressure to all the traditional reflexology points in the feet and lower legs that run along the “sen” energy lines (also known as “meridian lines”).

Treat yourself to a little “me” time, put your feet up and let us massage away the tension and stress. We cannot promise a miracle cure, but we can promise a wonderfully relaxing experience.

Pregnancy Massage

During pregnancy, regular prenatal massages may not only help you relax, but may also relieve insomnia, joint pain, neck and back pain, leg cramping and sciatica.

Additionally, it can reduce swelling in your hands and feet, relieve carpal tunnel pain, and alleviate headaches and sinus congestion – all common pregnancy problems. Massage may also lift depression without the use of medication, according to some scientific studies.
For the safety of you and your unborn baby, you must be beyond your first trimester (at least 13 weeks’ pregnant) to receive this massage.
